Digitalisation of the energy sector
Pepps develops tailor-made digital solutions that modernise production, strengthen distribution, and enhance the reliability of infrastructures.
Why digitalise energy infrastructures ?
Digitalisation plays a central role in the modernisation of the energy sector. It enables operators to address increasingly complex challenges: integrating renewable energy, managing cost pressure, meeting compliance requirements, and supervising critical sites that are often remote.
Key challenges in a transforming sector
-
Maintaining reliability : managing the energy transition while ensuring high performance across all installations.
-
Proactive monitoring : anticipating failures through remote supervision.
-
Meeting new requirements : complying with regulatory, economic and environmental expectations.
A transition towards greater supervision, traceability and sustainability
-
Automatic data collection : digitalising information to improve accuracy.
-
Enhanced traceability : monitoring operations and key indicators in real time.
-
Tailor-made solutions : adapting to field constraints without disrupting existing architectures.
Our digital expertise for the energy sector
Real-time monitoring of critical installations
The systems we develop ensure continuous supervision of infrastructures. They centralise data from sensors, PLCs or remote equipment, even in areas without a stable network.
Predictive maintenance and reduced emergency interventions
Built-in analysis models detect anomalies and anticipate failures. Automated alerts enable teams to act before an incident occurs, reducing unplanned downtime.
Data visualisation for informed decision-making
Teams access dashboards designed for daily operations. These interfaces display key indicators in real time and allow users to analyse historical data to improve planning.
Integration with your existing systems (SCADA, PLCs, sensors)
Pepps leverages the tools already deployed within client environments. The solutions connect to standard industrial protocols and ensure full interoperability with existing equipment.
What you gain with our digital tools
Projects completed in the energy sector
Pepps has supported several major industry players in their digital transformation. Each project delivered concrete results: better anticipation, cost reduction, optimised operational flows and enhanced security for critical installations.
Supervision of a molten salt solar plant
Pepps assisted John Cockerill in the technical and functional redesign of the supervision platform for its molten salt solar thermal plants.
The project included a software architecture audit, the redefinition of energy performance indicators, and the design of a responsive web interface displaying real-time thermal and meteorological data.
This modernisation strengthens the reliability of analyses, reduces operational response times and prepares the system for future scalability across other production sites.
Predictive maintenance for a hydroelectric dam
This digital solution continuously collects and analyses data from the sensors installed on-site (piezometry, stress measurements, vibrations, etc.) in order to anticipate failures, optimise maintenance and secure energy production.
Thanks to an architecture combining IoT, AI and real-time supervision, Pepps contributes to the modernisation of hydroelectric asset management in Cameroon and supports the transition towards a more sustainable and resilient energy model.
