Digitalising projects for international organisations and development cooperation
Pepps designs digital solutions that strengthen traceability, optimise project management and structure humanitarian and development actions both in the field and at an institutional level.
Why digitalise international organisations and development projects?
Development cooperation projects face specific challenges linked to the diversity of stakeholders, field deployment conditions and increasing expectations regarding accountability.
Difficult structuring within a dispersed ecosystem
-
Multiple stakeholders: donors, technical operators, public agencies and local partners make coordination complex.
-
Data centralisation: organisations need tools capable of gathering and structuring information across the entire intervention chain.
-
Streamlined processes: digitalising workflows ensures better organisation and improved project follow-up.
Unstable operational conditions in the field
-
Challenging contexts: limited connectivity, difficult access to infrastructure and reduced logistical capacity.
-
Accessibility of solutions: tools must remain simple to use and fully functional, even in degraded conditions.
-
Offline use: ensuring the effectiveness of the solutions even without network coverage or in remote environments.
Increased requirements for monitoring, transparency and accountability
-
Clear evidence and reporting: donors and institutional partners expect precise traceability of resources and actions.
-
Automated data collection and monitoring: digitalising key indicators ensures reliable and fast reporting.
-
Information security: protecting sensitive data while making it easier to use.
Our digital expertise for development and cooperation projects
Project structuring and coordination
Pepps designs digital solutions that support projects throughout their entire lifecycle — from field data collection to institutional reporting — while strengthening coordination between all stakeholders.
Flow monitoring and traceability
Our platforms enable precise monitoring of indicators and flows in a secure, interoperable environment to ensure data reliability.
Field accessibility
The tools operate in both online and offline mode, on mobile or tablet, making them usable even in hard-to-reach areas.
Centralisation and automated reporting
Data is automatically centralised to generate reports for donors, national authorities and technical partners, facilitating accountability and reducing the risk of fraud.
What you gain with our tools
Projects completed in development cooperation and aid
Pepps supports public and international stakeholders in implementing digital solutions tailored to field realities. These projects demonstrate our ability to respond to diverse contexts with reliable, effective tools aligned with development objectives.
Digital wood traceability platform – Government of Guyana (EU & AFD)
Pepps is developing a complete digital solution to ensure wood traceability from the forest to export. Supported by the European Union and the AFD, this project aims to strengthen transparency in the forestry sector, ensure the legality of wood flows and comply with FLEGT agreements and the European EUDR regulation.
Digitalisation of railway maintenance – CAMRAIL (Cameroon)
As part of efforts to reinforce transport infrastructure, Pepps is supporting the Ministry of Transport of Cameroon and CAMRAIL in the digitalisation of railway maintenance on the Yaoundé–Douala axis.
This project contributes to the modernisation of public services, improves intervention traceability and strengthens the reliability of the national railway network.
Predictive maintenance for the hydroelectric dam – EDC (Cameroon)
As part of Cameroon’s sustainable energy sector development, Pepps supported EDC (Electricity Development Corporation) in implementing an intelligent supervision and predictive maintenance system for the Lom Pangar dam.
This solution enhances infrastructure safety, optimises energy performance and contributes to modernising public maintenance practices.
Digital wood traceability – Government of Honduras (EU & AFD)
Funded by the European Union and led by the French Development Agency (AFD), this project aims to strengthen forest governance in Honduras through the implementation of a digital master plan and a national wood traceability platform inspired by the model developed by Pepps in Guyana.
It also includes capacity-building and training programmes for national teams, ensuring long-term adoption and technological autonomy for the country.
Intelligent level crossings – CFS (Senegal)
To improve local safety around level crossings, Pepps is supporting the Chemin de Fer du Sénégal (CFS) in deploying an intelligent train detection system.
Based on real-time geolocation, this solution enables automatic barrier closure and reduces the risk of accidents, while modernising the country’s railway infrastructure.
